Social platforms have trained us to write quickly. An idea appears, becomes a short post, and disappears into the feed a few hours later. That works for conversation, but not for ideas worth returning to.
I want this blog to be the opposite of a feed: a quiet place without algorithms, counters, or a required publishing schedule.
Writing to Understand
When you try to explain a subject to someone else, the gaps in your own understanding become easier to see. Writing works the same way. It forces you to structure an argument, check the facts, and remove what does not belong.
This is where I will publish explorations of information security, notes on learning, technology, and digital culture. Some entries will be brief observations. Others may take weeks to complete.
The rule is simple: will I still want to open this article a year from now?
No Content Calendar
This blog is not trying to become a media outlet, so there will be no promise of a new article every week. One finished piece is better than five entries written to satisfy a schedule.
The site will remain simple as well: text, a date, a few links, and enough empty space. Everything else should help the reader—or stay out of the way.
This is the first point. Let us see where the trajectory leads.
